Stan Lee first met Captain America when he was 19 years old, and just getting started in publishing. Celebrating the 30th anniversary of the greatest space fantasy film of all time, the UTAPAU TROOPER is the newest edition to the ARTFX Statue series.   The infamous receivers of Order 66, each Utapau Clone Troopers stands 12 inches tall, and includes a display base, and trademark Clone Trooper weapons – the blaster and DC-15 rifle.  The level of detail that the Koto ARTFX series is known for is on display in this piece, with over 200 individual scratches and markings on the Trooper’s armor.  Limited to only 2007 pieces (for Summer 2007), this is one of the smallest edition sizes of any ARTFX Statues released.

Fin Fang Foom - Exclusive San Diego Comic-Con Edition



WizKids® is ramping up the excitement at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con with an exclusive variation of this year’s popular HeroClix® colossal figure, Fin Fang Foom™! Sporting orange skin and more expressive eyes, this version of Fin Fang Foom is taken from some of the other comic references to Jack Kirby’s and Stan Lee’s character.



“For most of his career, Fin Fang Foom was cast as a giant, green behemoth, but he sometimes shows up orange, such as his appearance in Thor #379, when he was mistaken for the Midgaard Serpent™,” said HeroClix Brand Manager Mark Tuttle. “San Diego Comic-Con is the ideal setting to present the other side of this great character in a killer collectible.”



San Diego Comic-Con is an international comic book convention held every year in California, where over 100,000 attendees from all over the world gather to celebrate their love the of the comic book genre. WizKids will have a major booth presence at this year’s show from July 25 to 29, showcasing the latest HeroClix releases along with the other new game lines recently announced.

On top of the new paint job, the Fin Fang Foom San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) exclusive will have the SDCC logo on the base, and an exclusive sticker on the package. The dials and game play of the piece are identical to the version that premiered at Wizard World Los Angeles, which will be featured at other select WizKids-attended shows. The SDCC Fin Fang Foom will be limited to 1,250 pieces and will never be made available anywhere else. Per the requirements for SDCC, fans wanting to purchase this Fin Fang Foom will have to participate in a lottery system to win the chance to purchase the figure.
